Senior dogs are too often overlooked and disregarded when they need us most. Many find themselves abandoned, surrendered, or forgotten simply because they require extra care. We believe growing older should never make a dog less worthy of love.

Our mission is to provide senior dogs with the medical care, comfort, and compassion they deserve while helping them find the next chapter of their story. Whether that's a loving forever home, hospice support, or simply a safe place to heal, every decision we make is centered around their quality of life.

But The Vintage Dog is about more than rescue. We are building programs that support the people who love senior dogs, too—from helping families plan for their dogs before a crisis, to creating resources that keep more senior dogs safe, loved, and together with the people who cherish them.
